    Backups are your best defense if your site should ever be hacked (it can happen even to government security networks). The main thing for you to think about is how frequently you make updates to your site. If it’s infrequent, weekly updates means you would lose only a few days of site changes if you (we) need to restore your hacked site. If you change your site more frequently, you probably require nightly backups. That provides your best protection against loss.
